Wedding Showers Elopement Non-traditional Bridal/baby Shower/bachelorette Party?

Non-traditional bridal/baby shower/bachelorette party? - wedding showers elopement

After the discovery that we expect, my friend and I have decided to abandon the ideas of the previous marriage and a civil ceremony or a "leak" are in Niagara Falls in January.

I still would like a meeting before the girl, and offered a friend, planning a shower, but I do not feel comfortable with the traditional shower, because I do not want my friends think she has a gift when he was in the wedding , I also want to celebrate with us, expecting a baby and while I'm building my bachelor party (because I'm very busy and do not have the time for many parts)

Would it make sense to invite my friends to dinner and then surprised them with the wordsone bachelorette / pre / pre-wedding for baby? I really want to stay away from the "shower" because they do not want my friends think that they need to bring a gift, I just want to spend time with my friends before .. Married

I think it is good that the wedding .... But please take into consideration a child regardless shower.

Many reasons explain this.

This is your first child? If so, you want - and deserve - a very special celebration for the child. People gather to celebrate their new role of the mother and the new family member.

The baby shower is for the baby. You can show the pictures of the baby shower as part of their "history".

While you might not need or want the wedding, you quickly realize that spending a small fortune on baby stuff, especially at the beginning. His friends and relatives who want to help. Whether you bring something new or hand me down.

So, before aD have pre-wedding bachelorette for you, as you describe ... but give the child to his own party.

Do not allow children to look back and see they were all together in a combo for your wedding.

No, I do it the way you describe. That is simply rude.
But there is nothing wrong with simply invite your friends to dinner and go, but do not give a name.

It's really sweet that you only spend the time with your friends. Tell your BF plan the shower, in the sure ur friends will be delighted, and if you still have a gift that can be done later, Congratulations and good luck, but have fun above all want:)
